Sanjay Van, nestled in the heart of South Delhi, is a forest sanctuary that spans over 786 acres. Originally established as a recreational area for Delhi's residents, this park has evolved into a haven for nature enthusiasts, sports enthusiasts, and dog parents alike. Its diverse flora and fauna, coupled with well-maintained trails and open spaces, make it the perfect trail for you and your dog to explore and unleash their adventurous spirits. Additionally, the Qutub Minar view makes the visit worth it

Timings: 5 AM- 8 PM (No one is allowed in the forest area after darkness)

Restrictions

  • No one is allowed to enter the park post 8 PM since it is a reserve forest area
  • No littering policy

Pro tips and precautions

  • Visit early morning or evening for pleasant weather and fewer crowds
  • Weekday walks = fewer crowds
  • You can take a long leash to give your dog more freedom to explore the on-leash areas
  • Be cautious of stray dogs and maintain a safe distance
