So here are some dog-friendly veggies that do no harm to your pet and only benefit them.

1. CABBAGE

It contains vitamins B1, B6, C, and K, not to mention tons of phytonutrients. These are antioxidants that improve the overall health of dogs—and humans—who consume them.

2. CARROTS

Carrots prove to be an ideal snack for dogs as they can be eaten raw and are low in calories. They are also rich in vitamin  B, C, D, E, and K and also provide a lot of fibre.

3. BROCCOLI

Broccoli delivers vitamins A, C, E, and K, not to mention tons of fibre and almost no fat. The stalk of broccoli also boosts immunity and helps to ward off cancer. 

4. GREEN BEANS

Another veggie can be served raw or cooked. They are rich in vitamins A, C, and K, folic acid, and fiber and help in digestion and keeping the heart healthy. 

5. CUCUMBERS

They are ideal for dogs who need to maintain a healthier weight, cucumbers boost energy yet have a low caloric count. Cucumbers are also rich in vitamin B1, C, and K and have a lot of anti-inflammatory benefits. 

6. SPINACH

Because of its nutrient-dense properties, spinach can be a healthy addition to supplement your dog’s diet – a super food not only for Popeye but also your dog!
